Wedding celebration

We hired the venue for our UK wedding celebration in September 2023, following marriage abroad. The venue was perfect, we had a wonderful evening along with our family and friends. The staff were very helpful from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and the catering provided was fantastic. Thank you once again for making our evening so special!

Wedding Reception

I wanted to say thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for Saturday. I cannot tell you how perfect you all made the day, and everyone has said what an amazing venue it was, the food was the best wedding food they’d ever had and how incredible all the staff were. You are all an absolute credit and you just made everything run so smoothly which made our day perfect. We are away for a few days now but I’ll pop in when we are back as I have a little thank you for you all. xx

Celebration of Life

I just wanted to record how pleased we are with yesterday’s celebration at the club. Everything was great and Drew and the girls were very professional. We had lots of excellent comments from our guests who were very complimentary about the room and standard of the catering. It enabled the family to provide a celebration my sister would have appreciated.

60th Birthday Party

I booked Hazel Grove Golf Club last year for my 60th Birthday party in February 2024.
The staff, particularly Drew, were extremely helpful allowing several viewings of the room and the options available. It was perfect for 80 guests, good size dance floor and food served in a designated area. They can provide a DJ if you want but I arranged my own. The food options were perfect, to suit any budget, and I chose 2 hot options, plus they did a small amount of veggie options.

Everything was perfect, faultless. We were able to decorate the room and then leave things to be collected the day after.

Highly recommended for any party, wedding or get together!

Celebration of Life

I just wanted to thank you and your team for helping to create such a wonderful memorial for my mother at the golf club last Monday. Your patience and kindness in attending to every detail was remarkable and it certainly paid off. The golf club looked wonderful in the sunshine. The table decorations were perfect. The banners your team helped to put up so poignant and the food was delicious.

Your staff on Monday looked after us attentively. Everything was perfect.

And that's coming from a very difficult to please former TV producer who is used to hosting big events around the world!

Cannot thank you enough.

General Compliments

Hazel Grove Golf Club is an amazing venue for any party or event. It doesn’t matter what type of event I’ve been to, the golf club never disappoints. All the staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you.Martin always ensures there are more than enough bar staff to cover whatever event is taking place.

Drew is so helpful and makes sure that any request is fulfilled without hesitation. She is always on hand to answer any questions before the event, and always makes sure she is present during the event to ensure the day/night goes to plan. I’ve never met a more helpful and honest person when it comes to organising the events. She would make an excellent Event Planner.

Andy ensures that every single time (without fail) the food is top class. Over the years I’ve attended golf days, birthday parties, weddings, christenings and funerals and the food served at all these events was second to none. In all the years eating at this venue I have never heard one person complain about the food. Andy would not be out of place as a Head Chef in a 5 star restaurant or famous hotel.

I can’t recommend Hazel Grove Golf Club highly enough, so much so that I have already booked my 50th birthday party there next year.

If you’re thinking of the golf club as your party venue then don’t think twice, you will not be disappointed.

Celebration of Life

We had an amazing send off for my Mum at this beautiful venue. From the moment we discovered the Hazel Grove Golf Club on-line and contacted Drew we could not have asked for a better service. Nothing was too much to ask, from helpful suggestions and advice regarding buffet menus, table arrangements and much more. Everything fell into place on the day where our guests enjoyed a fabulous atmosphere, delicious food and drinks and superb service and it really was the best send off for our Mum that we could have wished for. Thank you so much ! Myself and my family would highly recommend.

Choosing Hazel Grove Golf Club as the venue to hold our wedding meal and celebrate with family and friends was the best decision we made when planning our big day!

Drew and her team were exceptional both in the planning stages and on the day itself. Drew made everything stress free, talking us through our options and then helping us decide what would work best for our party. She kept in good communication throughout the planning process and was incredibly accommodating to dietary needs and preferences. She went above and beyond throughout and we were so grateful for all the help she gave us, especially when we had some last minute changes the weeks before the wedding - nothing was too much trouble for her team to accommodate!

The food on the day was fantastic! We chose a carvery style main with a choice of two desserts. All our guests commented on how tasty it was and how quickly and efficiently they were served. As big carvery lovers ourselves, we were thrilled with the food and felt that the team really outdid themselves considering how reasonably priced it was. The desserts were fantastic. Handmade by the team the previous day - the fruit tart was especially popular with our guests!

The venue was immaculate and we were really impressed with how perfectly they arranged the room to fit our needs.

The venue was the perfect place to celebrate and the team were fantastic in every way. I would highly recommend this location and am so thankful to Drew and her team for making our day so wonderful!
